We have food and clean cars!!

Yesterday we hit up WalMart and of course managed to spend lots of money there. But the pantry is stocked and there is food in the fridge. I've planned our dinners every night through the end of February, so that makes food shopping that much easier! Tonight it's meatloaf and before you say yuck, don't! everyone in this house likes meatloaf!! :)
Jeff washed both our cars yesterday - now they are both shiny and clean! I even cleaned the inside of Smelly. I started to clean the interior of Clownie, but didn't finish - sorry Homie.
I did spray all the weeds in the front yard. I'm waiting for them to start shrivelling up now!!
I went to the bank today to find out about refinancing... that isn't going to happen, darn it!! Who couldn't stand to save a few bucks every month? We'll just have to wait for the rates to go down a little bit lower.
Now it's time for some ironing and sewing (maybe - I really need to get that shirt made!!!).

Nothing too exciting

Friday night Randy, Keith and I went out for dinner the Cracker Barrel. It was yummy. They now have bread bowls on the menu! Randy tried the chicken and cheese soup bread bowl and he thought it was delicious! Jeff went to Rosita's with Frank on Friday to celebrate his divorce, but the divorce didn't actually happen, like it should have. The soon-to-be ex filed for a change of venue - to prolong and annoy.
Saturday I went to work - as usual. I was busy from 9 until 4 and I got to leave at 5 instead of staying til 6. Jeff went to the Dreaming Summit Animal Hospital and put in a couple of hours doing stuff with their computers. The boys were with Mama & Papa. So far, it's been a good weekend.
Today we need to go grocery shopping. That's never fun, but I do like having a house full of food! Going to watch Ratatouille first!
The Renaissance Festival is coming!!!!!!!!! Second weekend in February until the end of March! Can't wait to go!! And camping - we're probably going to go the last weekend of Feb. Can't wait!!

Sleepy pups

We took the doggies to the dog park today!
Ace had fun annoying little dogs and
Chelsea just seemed happy to be there!
The boys had a half day, as usual on Wednesday. I met my friends for breakfast at Ground Control - as usual on Wednesday -well, we don't always go to Ground Control, but we always try to meet for breakfast on Wednesdays. I had a cheese danish & white chocolate mocha coffee.
Yesterday we took a ton of stuff to Goodwill to donate. Randy helped me make dinner last night too! Spaghetti, Texas toast and salad! - YUM! Tonight it's breakfast for dinner!!
I'm still reading "The Gargoyle" by Andrew Davidson - hopefully I'll finish it soon. I've been spending way too much time on Facebook - I have to cut down, so I can do other things!
So the Cardinals are in the Super Bowl - amazing!! That's the first weekend in February.
The second weekend is the Renaissance Festival!!! WooooooHooooo!! I love the RenFest!!!!!
Then we want to go camping!! Just have to see if anyone else wants to/or can come with us!
Valentine's Day is in there somewhere too -- goofy holiday.... I got the boys "Fun Dip" valentines to hand out in school. They want to eat them though -- I need to hide them for a couple of weeks, so they have something to give out! :)

The past few days....

It was nice coming home to dinner, made by Jeff on Saturday after work. He made breaded pork, noodles and corn. It was delicious! Sunday we spent most of the day cleaning out the garage and watching the Cardinals game (on the TV in the garage). We got rid of a bunch of stuff and organized the rest. After the garage was all cleaned up, "Clownie" actually fit inside - so now we only have my car outside. Michele, the girls and her sister-in-law came over to meet Chelsea and give her and Ace some love and attention. Keith spent most of Sunday at my parent's house. He made a friend and played outside the whole time. For dinner, we went to Applebee's for some steak, fajitas, and burgers and watched the Steelers game. It was a great weekend!

Ace needed a friend and they actually get along very well -despite how it looks in the picture.

Too cute!

Haircuts...

I gave all three boys haircuts yesterday...
but I only have a picture of two of them :-)

Yes, they'd much rather have their picture taken, than do homework!

Once the homework is complete, it's off to Papa's because he needs a haircut too!

The weekend

Saturday night the boys spent the night at Mama & Papa's house. Homie and I went on a date. We had dinner at Haus Murphy's - the German Restaurant in Glendale. It was fun and the food was yummy!! We were going to go somewhere else for dessert, because I didn't want what they had there, but we ended up just going home instead.
Sunday when the boys got home, we packed up some vittles and headed to Wickenburg. We had never been there and I wanted to go check it out. We had a picnic in the grass and then walked around a bit. We had a good time and enjoyed the perfect weather!!

The picnic.

The train.

The caboose.

A real payphone - and there was even a phone book!!

Us getting directions from the old school marm (statue).

The boys and me at the Wickenburg train station.

The soldier who guards the American Legion.
Keith wanted to see if he could pull the trigger on his gun.
Didn't work though.

The sign that greeted us at one store.

Us posing with an old animated guy.

Stagecoach.
The end :)

Friday....

I went to the Mustang Spirit Assembly today.
Randy received the Student of the Month award and
a certificate and red shirt for reading 100 books!I went to work a bit late, but I managed to get my hair colored
and still bring in $111 in three hours!
The boys and I went to McGrath's Fishhouse for dinner.
They both wanted popcorn shrimp and I had the super yummy salmon sandwich!
Jeff got home super late from work because of crappy traffic!
And he just left with the boys to go to Rosita's.
I'm all alone and it's very nice!! :-)

What to write?

The holidays have come and gone... it was all pretty good except for us getting sick. We did get to spend a lot of family time together - that has been nice. The Wii is really a lot of fun! And so is going out to eat! We've eaten at Gordon Biersch (and I'm not going back), P.F. Changs (that was ok) and Cracker Barrel - that was the friggin' Best!!!!! And shopping - can't forget shopping!! That is super fun! We bought some clothes (I got three new dresses!), some Christmas stuff (on sale), some books, food, etc. We got another Lazer Tag, so Jeff can join in the fun with the boys. They keep trying to convince me to get in on it, but I just can't do it. We also went to the movies... we saw The Tale of Despereaux -- the mouse with the big ears! It was ok - I don't suggest that you run out and go see it. The boys' rooms are finally arranged with their new desks - now we just need to paint! Yes, that is backwards... probably should have painted first, then arranged all the furniture - oh well. :-) Here are a few pics...

One of my new dresses.

Ace - looking so very happy outside. He wanted to be out there!!

Jeff - being happy for real, unlike Ace.

The boys - relaxing, climbing the furniture, watching tv.

Yup, Randy's room...

You guessed it! Keith's room...
