The first month of school is over - I can't believe how fast that went by. Both boys are doing well in school. We like both of the teachers. So far I've only helped out in each class once, but I do get to go in every week from here on out. On Mondays, I'll be in Randy's class and on Tuesday in Keith's. I like knowing what goes on in their classes.
I have a new phone! Jeff got me an iPhone - he wanted to get me one when he bought his a year ago, but I wouldn't let him. He was right.... I'm glad I have it now. It's very cool!
Last Saturday the boys went to a birthday/pool party. They had a great time. Yesterday I asked Randy what he wanted to do for his birthday - he said he wanted to have a pool party... in December? And I suppose it would help if we had a pool! So I guess he'll have to come up with something else. So far we have no plans of putting in a pool.
We are thinking of replacing the windows in the house. Our windows are horrible! We had some contractor/salesman/rip-off artist at the house last night to give us an estimate -- that was laughable, but it's a starting point. Jeff is going to contact others for comparison.
In other news, I've stopped painting. I'm completely slacking. Ever since cleaning up and taking all the stuff out of the house for Keith's party, I haven't been able to make myself drag all the stuff back inside. I figure somehow it will all get done by Christmas.
Well, it's time to meet some friends for breakfast...
