Another week down....

Time just keeps flying! Last week we took the doggies to the vet. Chelsea needed blood work done so we can get her more meds and see what's up with her thyroid situation. Turns out that she also has a heart murmur, so we have to take her back to the vet tomorrow for x-rays. Ace had a lump on his "shoulder", which was a cyst, but Dr. Matt said it was essentially like a pimple on a person and he could remove it no problem. I tried to find the lump today and it wasn't there, so I guess we won't need to get it removed.
Last Wednesday the boys went to the dentist and I was happy to be told that they are both doing a good job of taking care of their teeth. I get to go to the dentist next week for my teeth - those darn pushy dentist office girls won't let me skip a cleaning.
Thursday Jeff and I went to the Science Center with Randy and his class for a field trip. It was insane!! The place is not very big and they had 26 bus loads of kids that day - that is at least 50 kids per bus!!!!!! You would think that they'd limit the amount of people they have there at the same time. It stunk, but Randy did have a little bit of fun.
Friday Jeff got to come home a little bit earlier than usual - the office closed two hours early. We went to McGrath's Fish House for dinner that night because i was too lazy to make dinner.
Saturday it rained! That stunk, especially for the gal who was getting married and the girls who were going to prom that night. I did the maid of honor's hair and got the low-down on the wedding - it was held at the Phoenix Zoo - of all places! Lucky for them, they have a room for just such an occasion. It was going to take place outside by the giraffes, but rain and mud make for a very messy wedding. I'm sure the prom girls did fine because it stopped raining later in the day, so it was good for them.
Sunday was Easter and I forgot to take my camera to my parents' house. We went there for lunch. Old Mama and Old Papa, Bob and Nina, Zoli, Chris, Zoli and Cody were there. I did use Apu's camera, but I didn't get the pics yet. They may or may not be posted later. :)
This morning I took the dogs for a "meet & greet" at the pet sitter's. She has two retired racers, a super chubby Lab and five Italian Greyhounds! All very cute. I think Ace and Chelsea will have a good time there while we go camping!
Last week I finished reading "Agincourt" by Bernard Cornwell - it was a pretty cool book. Kings, war, archers, men at arms, horrible priests, nuns, saints - good stuff. I started reading "Barefoot" by Elin Hilderbrand and finished that last night. That was good too! That one was present time and took place in Nantucket. I love Nantucket!! I reserved the four other books written by Hilderbrand, from the library. Hopefully I'll get them soon. In the meantime, I started reading book three of the Sign of Seven trilogy - I only had to wait over nine months to finally get some closure on that one! Well, I'm going to continue reading it now. Good night all!
