Both boys had good days. I am very glad!! Keith is even excited about going back tomorrow. Randy hasn't admitted to any excitement about tomorrow, but he hasn't said anything negative about it!! They have both decided that they don't want to ride the bus home this year - mainly because it's the same mean, jerky bus driver from last year and the fact that there is no A/C on the bus.
I'm only slightly dreading being the room parent coordinator. I talked to each teacher on Thursday night - 36 teachers - I think I got them all. Some were pretty excited about the notion of room parents and others didn't really care. Oh well.
Since the teachers were nice enough not to give homework today, we went to my parents' house and the boys did some swimming.We made spaghetti and meatballs and Texas toast for dinner. I was going to make salad, but that didn't happen. At least we got our veggies in the tomato sauce.
It'll be nice to get back into a routine and back to having Sundays off!!!
