Monday

Today we went to the library. I got a couple of books. The boys didn't want to get any because that would mean that they'd have to read. We bumped into Lisa, Colin & Gen at the library! We went to Walmart to get some more paint and luckily the lady, (who happens to be the manager of that department) was not there and we were able to get our paint mixed and it turned out right!!!!! I got the boys a couple of slices of Brother's Pizza for lunch. I did a tiny bit of painting. Jeff came home a little early today, since he went in early (because it's Monday). We went to TGI Fridays for dinner. My vittles were yummy! Jack Daniels Burger with extra Jack :) The boys decided on a double dose of pizza today and Jeff had the Thai Chicken Wrap. We hit up Target and managed to walk out of there without spending a dime ...... figure that one out!!
I wanted to take the boys to a water park this week. I talked to them about it and those crazy kids don't want to go!!! So I guess I will save the money! Back to school in two weeks! I can't believe how fast this summer has flown by. Although the heat will be with us for quite a while - probably until October, as usual. Thought we were going to get a nice thunderstorm tonight, but all we ended up with was some super wind -- Chelsea didn't like it at all! Poor little girl. But all is well now... need to prep the boys for bed. 'Night all.

We have not had a garage sale yet. I can't even remember what has happened since the last time I've posted. A lot of painting had been done, but there is much, much more that still needs to be done. We haven't gone anywhere or done anything fun lately. We did eat dinner at the Cracker Barrel yesterday - I guess that was fun. We also went to Fry's Electronics. Randy's video card died yesterday, so that meant we needed to get two new video cards -- so that both boys would have the same stuff.
The boys go back to school August 3rd. I can't believe how fast this break has gone by. Randy will be in 4th grade and Keith will be in 2nd. We need to buy new uniforms and all sorts of school supplies. Keith is pretty excited about going back to school, but Randy doesn't say much about it. I hope they both end up with the teacher's that I've requested for them.
I'm ready for the weather to start cooling down!! Maybe the heat will dissipate by September :)

Garage sale!!

We really need to have one! Today we hit up Home Depot, Lowe's and Best Buy. We managed to add a ton of debt to our credit cards... We have new lighting for our bathroom, more painting supplies and other stuff that I can't think of... and a 55 inch LCD TV - that we are very happy to replace the 62 inch projection TV (that you couldn't see unless you sat directly in front of it) with.
Since the new TV is going to hang on the wall - we figured we might as well paint it before hand. It's so exciting! I love seeing the color on the walls!!! Once things are set up, I will take pictures. Going to relax now. Happy 4th everyone!

I've been busy...

I've been painting for a week and a half, and I'm still not finished with my room. The bedroom is done (minus a little bit of molding) and the bathroom and closet are almost there. Just a little more to do and then I can finally leave my room.
In between painting, there has been a little bit of excitement. Well, maybe not excitement. Keith was sick with a stomach bug - which was not fun at all!!! Luckily it was over in 24 hours. Then Jeff got it - that wasn't fun either. Both of them are much better now and luckily (knock on wood) Randy and I haven't caught it.
Plans for the 4th? Not really. I have to work Saturday and Sunday, but luckily the salon is closing at 3 instead of 6 on Saturday. We haven't heard that Louise and Tom are coming for the weekend, so we are just gonna be home. We were invited to join friends at the ball park to watch fireworks - we will probably do that.
Jeff has run some network cable to the boys' rooms - so we no longer have the cable trailing down the hall - yay! So the boys' computers are running good and they have been very busy playing Star Wars Battlefront II, among other games. Keith usually goes for a daily swim at Mama's and Randy joins him every so often. It doesn't seem like we're having tons of fun, but the time is flying by!! They go back to school in a month - August 3rd!!! Randy will be in 4th grade and Keith in 2nd. I have to start thinking about back to school shopping!
