What going on?

Not much. Things are boring and everything costs too darn much! That's very annoying. Jeff scheduled all the bills and did the budget for the coming year last night --- it's very depressing! I need more lottery tickets! I checked the mail - and you guessed it - we didn't receive any million dollar checks yet. Hey - I can always hope. I know, in the meantime I should be doing something to help out the situation, but it's easier to just sit back and wish for stuff!
At this rate, I'll never get to Hawaii! I need to sell more products -- that's Jeff's answer to getting more money. I'm not a very good salesperson, but I'm working on it. BK bought me the book "The Greatest Salesman In The World" by Og Mandino. I'm reading it -- and I'll keep reading it. I will make it work.
I can't believe September is almost over!! The boys will have 1/2 days next Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and then they are off for the following two weeks! I want to take them to Bisbee -- Ok, I really want to take myself to Bisbee, but they might enjoy it too. My mom's friends, who live in Sierra Vista are waiting for my parents to visit them --- they may just have to settle for my mom, me and the boys (maybe Ace too)! Bisbee isn't all that far from them and Tombstone is close too. I love Tombstone, in case you didn't already know that. But you see, here's where the money comes in again.... We need some to go on trips!!!!! Ok, I work Thursday, Friday and Saturday - and as Jeff would say -- I'll have to shake everybody's pockets!!
I was helping out in Randy's class today and the teacher asked the kids if they've ever walked in snow.... I felt so bad because Randy never has! He looked at me all sad! I have to take these boys to go play in snow!!!!!!! It's a MUST! They're missing out! At least they get to play with chickens! Haha! Tomorrow is Wednesday and they're going to Eric and Jason's house- they have chickens and geese and dogs, puppies and kitties. Ahhhh - I'm out of coffee -- need to go get some more!
Forget the coffee- I got distracted looking at old pictures. Look how tiny Randy was!!!!!!! Keith wasn't quite so tiny. Here's Randy weed- whacking... or was he Keith- whacking? No, Randy would never do that - he's a good kid - he may not like his brother all that much, but he wouldn't weed-whack him (would he?). Speaking of Tombstone, this was us in 2003 with Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Alissa!

Crazy Wednesday

Puddies, piggy, puppy, punks and pirate's booty....

Piggy was enjoying chasing the kitties around the couch. Ace is his usual couch potato self - just hanging out. Yesterday was 80's day at school - so as you can see, the boys were punk rockers. We've discovered this new snack that is actually good for you and the boys like it - Pirate's Booty - yes, I know, the picture is showing Fruity Booty - that's mine! The boys like the white cheddar Pirate's Booty. It tastes good and the name certainly helps too!

It's Monday

There's not much to say.
The boys went to school.
I helped out in first grade.
I went to my mom's house with Ace.
Picked the boys up from school and they did their homework.
I forgot to send in their fundraiser stuff - it was due today,
but don't worry - tomorrow is not too late.
The boys are on their computers.
We're waiting for Jeff to come home.
I'm not making dinner.
Well, Keith helped me make Mac & Cheese.
My dad brought over some corn on the cob.
And we're chowing down on a veggie tray too.
I have to go the dentist tomorrow.
Guess that means I won't be helping with the fund raiser catalog orders.
I don't think I mind that. :-)
We're still waiting for Jeff to come home from work.
It's 6:30 - hopefully he's on the road by now - he had to stay late.
I guess that's all for now.

Update...

Keith is doing much better today.
He almost looks like his normal self.
The antibiotic and steroid seem to be working!
All is well again! :-)

Today is not so good for Keith...

Yesterday his top lip started to get puffy while we were on the boat.
This morning he woke up with a lip 3x the times of what it should be.
I took him to the doctor's office this morning and they said it could be two different things.
It may be an abscess or an allergic/viral thing.
He also has a low grade fever, so that makes it more of a mystery.
We got a prescription for an antibiotic and a steroid.
The poor guy has definitely had better days.
I just hope that the yucky tasting medicines make it better quick!!!!
I have to take him back tomorrow so they can check out the size of his lip.

River Time

Sunday we went to Parker and played on the river.
Bruce and Penny - our neighbors - invited us.
We swam, floated, tubed and boated! It was all great fun!!

It's been a week

and I still don't have much to write about. Today was a good day... I had breakfast with Michele and Amy at Leaps. Michele made really cute bookmarks and she gave us each one. I just finished reading "Sammy's House" by Kristen Gore last night - so I couldn't wait to start a new book because I really wanted to use my new bookmark. I started reading "Under the Tuscan Sun". I saw the movie, but the book starts out completely different from the movie. The book should be interesting. And I'm using my new bookmark!!!! I also learned that PetCo is open now and it's super close to us. I thought I'd take Ace over there soon to check it out. Speaking of Ace - not that anyone wants to know this, but he had stomach issues last night. I let him out three times during the night, but I guess that was one time less than he needed to go out. I woke up to a seriously disgusting mess on the carpet this morning!!! Let's not say anymore about it! I did change his name for a while - it wasn't nice, but it made me feel better. We're back to calling him Ace now.
I vaguely recall yesterday - I went to help out in Randy's class, but his teacher forgot that it was Tuesday, so she didn't have anything ready for me to do. So I went to Keith's class and had a whole bunch of things to do. Then I went back to Randy's class and did some stuff for his teacher.
Monday we did a whole lot of nothing, but we did go to TGIFridays for lunch. Those fried green beans are so good.
Sunday I went food shopping and did a ton of laundry. The boys played on their computers. We were invited to our neighbor's garage/driveway that night for a retirement party for our other neighbor. I have to wonder why the parties are always in the garage when there is a pool in the backyard!!!!!!!
Saturday I worked and the boys enjoyed a nag-free day -- until I got home of course.
Friday was a regular day - I don't really remember it. Jeff went out for his usual dinner with the guys.
Thursday was my most horrible day ever -- I don't really want to write about it, but I'm going to anyway. Jeff and I went to work and the boys went to school. I got home from work and I passed out on the couch! I woke up completely disoriented and LATE! picking the boys up from school. I was on my way out the door when my cell rang - it was one of the secretaries from school! It only took me a few minutes to get to school and I was about 15 minutes late. I was horrified that it happened, but the boys were fine. I just wondered how long the secretaries would have waited to call me -- Randy had to ask them to!!!
